In consensually non monogamous and kinky communities, and other sex positive spaces, relationships rarely exist in isolation. Sometimes the community feels huge, and other times, especially in smaller cities, it can feel like everyone shares the same parties, play spaces, partners, and group chats. So what happens when a relationship, dynamic, or play partnership ends? This workshop explores the messy, tender, awkward realities of breakups within interconnected communities, and how to navigate them with care for yourself and the people around you.
Together, we will discuss and go over frameworks for breakups, de escalation, repair work, emotional regulation, and reintegration into community spaces.
