Slutty Summer STI Bootcamp

5 Days to get you ready for summer dating and play parties, without worrying about making the STI talk awkward.

(P.S. Slut is a gender-neutral term)

Most of us learned about STIs in a fear-based environment that is wildly disconnected from how people actually date, play, and build relationships, especially in non monogamous communities. This is your chance to learn about STIs the way you should have, so you can have conversations around health and disclosure while staying sex positive.

Slutty Summer STI Bootcamp is a 5-day, no-shame, real-world education series designed for people who want to feel more confident, informed, and empowered when it comes to communicating about STIs.

If you want partners to feel safe disclosing to you, it starts with how you show up. This bootcamp will help you build the language, confidence, and awareness to be part of a more honest, less shame-filled culture, so you can be realistic about your s*xual health and safety, make informed choices, and date, and play, with abandon.

What You’ll Get

  • Lifetime access to my private Discord with chat threads for memes, peer advice, media club, and more. This community is filled with people in consensual non monogamous relationships (open relationships, polyamorous relationships) that I have worked with in the past, from all over North America.

  • 5 days of content drops (videos, text, resources) in a private channel just for participants. This is asynchronous online learning - Rae will drop the info into the channel, and you get to learn at your own pace.

  • The option to book a 1:1 with Rae during the program if you want to ask clarifying questions, address your particular fears, and apply the content to your specific relationship dynamic and summer dating goals.

What We’ll Cover

Day 1: Rewriting the Narrative How we talk about illness and germs, and what we can learn from the COVID-19 epidemic when it comes to discussions of STIs. This is the introductory piece to communicating about your boundaries while staying sex positive, so you can help to create an environment where people can be honest with you, and you can be honest with them, when talking about STIs.

Day 2: Current STI Basics Up-to-date info on sexually transmitted infections, including the common bacterial and viral infections, and what STIs you need to know about today. Rae will link you to reliable medical resources so you can continue research on your own.

Day 3: Let’s Talk About RiskUnderstanding risk without shame. Breaking down our language and where stigma shows up so you can feel less shame

  • feel less shame around accidentally contracting STIs

  • Feel less shame around disclosing your own positive STI status

  • Cause less shame when talking about STIs with potential partners

Everyone should feel good about the STI conversation, and walk away feeling respected. This week will help you do that.

Day 4: The Conversation: Part 1 How, when, and if to talk about STIs in dating, hookups, play parties, and beyond. Whether you have to disclose an STI you have or have had, or you’re inquiring about someone else’s status, this part gives you key tips to make this conversation feel chill.

Day 5: The conversation: Part 2This day will focus on consensual non monogamy specific scenarios, like fluid bonding with multiple partners, and factors you should consider in your decision making around testing frequency, barrier method usage, and more.
